Wenge on Bubinga

I just ordered a showcase bubinga Jazz neck with a wenge fretboard.  I had an idiot moment, and forgot to save copies of the pictures online, so pictures will have to wait.  My question for now is; does anyone have any experience with that combination?  If so, how does it sound and how does it feel?  (To your subjective ears and hands, respectively.)

Also, I'd like some educated opinions about tung oil on the bubinga.  Yes or no?  And why?

Thanks mucho.

Nonsense. Check your email for the showcase item number and use it to get the pictures.

Bubinga neither needs any sort of finish, nor soaks up oils.

I already tried searching for the pictures using the showcase item number.  The search result said it either doesn't exist or was sold already.

The only thing I want to do with the bubinga is put a gloss on the headstock.  I'll be happy with the end result without the gloss, but I'll be a tad happier with it, if I can get it.

You have to substitute the item number in an image URL. The item is gone, but the image remains for years.

You, sir, are a genius!

Here they be:

MAN I love that grain pattern on the fretboard!  That might be the single nicest piece of wenge I have ever seen.

That is some awesome Wenge grain, the Bubinga looks very classy with it.

I knew Warmoth kept the showcase pics for a while but I didn't know how far back they'd go. (Mahogany/Ebony)
I found mine that I bought on 12/25/2009 still active (mahogany/ebony)

I'm still amazed at both my W necks each time I play them.  The woods they carry are better than any others I have seen in person.

Those are gorgeous necks.  Kinda too bad Warmoth doesn't make mahogany bass necks.
