+1 to stubhead, or the nut slots could be too loose. You can put your ear close and pinpoint the location of the warble, though - it won't be the middle of the string.
I've been playing my guitars outside on my deck lately and I noticed that I don't get the same bad sounding e string outside... so I'm thinking it might be from the sound bouncing off the wall in my small room. Kind of sucks though. I can't jam out on my deck all the time and it sounds so amazing outside. I't kind of a bummer. I think I'm going to have to get headphones and try play like that in my room. :tard:
