Weather in Puyallup, WA

Watching the news of all of the flooding in the state Washington. Hoping everyone working at our favorite "Build a Bear" shop in the Puyallup, WA area have not been affected.

Hope so too. The elevation in that area varies wildly though, not sure exactly where the Warmoth shop is but Puyallup covers territory that is near sea level to 100+m in elevation. Fingers crossed

All five Warmoth buildings are up on South Hill, so no real danger of them flooding. It's mostly affecting people's ability to move around the area, aka getting to work and home again.

Building #1 is situated right next to a large pond, but I've heard nothing about that being an issue.

Up on West Hill, Auburn, Wa for this very reason. Learned a lot from 2008 and later floods.

I just spoke with a pilot there who said 'the levee broke' and it's really messing up the traffic... He's up the hill so not affecting his house, but he's not sure how his wife will be getting home ..
