I've always like spalted maple, so I was lucky to find a vendor (sorry, not Warmoth) that had two in stock. Both bodies are <4 pounds, and have mahogany backs.
Build #7 has cheap Amazon humbucker rail pups (the bridge is >16k-ohms!). It's the first time I tried coil-split wiring with push-pull pots. I wired it incorrectly the first time, and it sounded awful. It has since been remedied, and now it sounds great!

Build #8 will have a combination of GFS and Amazon foil pups. They have finally arrived, and will be installed soon.

Oddly, even though they're in the same state, their shipping was about half of what Warmoth charges. However, Warmoth quality is higher (smoother routes, holes drilled, etc).
