Loving the new neons, apart from the purple, which looks more like neon aubergine to me. Shame, because usually purple is my favourite colour for anything and everything.
I'm thinking I may have to have a neon pink build in the near future. Get some neon strings from DR, multi-coloured bobbins from DiMarzio, go full-on 80s (or perhaps that'd be full-on pride?).

'Aubergine' is typically a brighter and more red shade, here in the UK, than what is perhaps the defined term (I regularly find that what colours are shown or described as on Wikipedia is very different to the commonly accepted ideas and names; though the uselessness of Wikipedia is perhaps a discussion best saved for elsewhere). So the neon is aubergine to me.

I'd be interested to know what the deal is with the transparent neons, since a couple of them (blue especially) seem a bit dull in colour. Are they just one of those finishes which is hard to photograph accurately? Looking through the bodies currently in there, and I'm starting to like the idea of an eyesore colour with maybe zebrawood grain showing through. ETA on when we'll be able to start custom ordering the neons (online)?
