When Warmoth contract builds for other manufacturers they probably leave the W logo off, but that would be something to be negotiated with Warmoth directly, and would probably involve minimum purchase agreements and other restrictions.
I'm speculating of course. As TFS advised, best to call Warmoth directly on this question.

Aha. I think we may have understood the intent of your question.
Warmoth hot-stamps a logo inside the neck pocket of each retail body, and at the heel of each retail neck - but no warmoth logo is otherwise applied - and certainly no logo is applied anywhere that would be visible after assembly.

I have bare headstocks on both of my builds.
There's a painfully huge amount of counterfeiting out there, and Fenders are about the easiest. You don't even have to "age" the parts yourself.... and the industrious little fakers move from model to model, after it became utterly ridiculous how many 1953 Telecasters and 1957 Strats were out there, they moved on to Jazzmasters & Jaguars. There were 1,712 legitimate 1958, 1959 and 1960 sunburst Les Paul Standards made, and approximately 7,000 of them are for sale... :toothy12:

And no one wants a serious serial number registry, they prefer to think they have half-a-million dollar's worth of wall candy than to find out otherwise. The dealers are up to their eyeballs in this, as long as they can keep writing articles for Vintage Guitar explaining how much all their stock is "worth" it just keeps going. And every new, more detailed book that comes out to identify the fakes just becomes another cookbook for the counterfeiters. :laughing3:

This moment, my most "valuable" axes are a 1965 Harmony Rocket & a mid-1960s Framus Stratotone. :headbang: Fun gonzo guitars that really do sound unique. I got 'em both for free, so go figure.
Over the decades, I've played enough doggo Fenders to be unimpressed by the name alone. Caveat emptor applies both ways.
Last I heard, all Warmoth pays for is the Fender headstock shape, as that's all Fender's ever been able to make stick in court.
The whimsical "funky turtle" guarantees quality -- without it, who'd know it's more than a generic piece of woodwork? Maybe for the non-Fenderoid necks a blank heel could be offered as an option, though not one I'd take.
