Warmoth accepting PayPal

I know this has been discussed before but man would I love it if Warmoth would take PayPal.  My PayPal account is basically my secret stash...toy money that is hidden from my wife.  Anyone else out there use any form of "spousal avoidance" to get their gear?  I'm also sure everyone gets the "why do you need another guitar/amp/pedal" at one point or another.

Nope my girlfriend actually suggested that I get a room for all my guitars when we move in together just so I can get more warmoths. Tell your wife to be more supportive!

Take it from the Pro from Dover; if you have to hide money (or most anything else, but especially money) from your girlfriend/wife, you picked out the wrong one...

Don't you think she'll notice the new guitar?

My wife is supportive to the extent that I am responsible. When the time to buy is right, she has talked me into spending more than I planned on multiple occasions. She does this because she believes that I have my priorities straight.

Just apply for a Pay Pal Master Card.  That way all of your guitar stuff is on one account, and if the seller doesn't take PayPal, you still can charge it to the card.

Exactly.  Rather than have Warmoth accomodate the way you've chosen to hide money, you should move it.  Getting them to take a method of payment hasn't been a problem.

As for hiding money.  I kind of do.  5% of my paycheck goes to a vacation account at my credit union.  Besides paying for vacations, it has bought new tires, Christmas gifts, etc.  My wife and I have a joint checking account, so it makes it hard to surprise her sometimes.  Also, being in the electrical trade, some contractors are more frugal than others with the disposal of scrap wire.  I actually payed for my first Warmoth completely with scrap wire.  It took a while, but it was faster than picking up cans.  My wife didn't mind one bit because it was all legit and the bank account didn't feel it.

Yeah, I guess I never thought about the debit card.  That would make it easier to suprise her for xmas & bdays and stuff.  Yeah, I know how some contractors are with wire.  I worked for an electrical contractor for 6 years that would bust your balls for leaving a small piece in a trench, and I also worked for one that saved it all and whoever helped with the burning off of the insulation got the $$ to split.

I'm hardly an Earth-first, tree-huggin' hippy, but burning the insulation off.....shame shame, tisk tisk.  Don't let Al Gore or the EPA find out.  To curb that habit, some recycle places won't take it if it's been burned.

well, my girlfriend actually suggested 'well, why wont you take TWO amps?!" well. is that kinda cool or what?!

Oh yeah, you wanna talk about some BLACK smoke.  We had to start doing it at night because you could see the plume from about ten miles away.
