Warmoth 30 Year Celebration Sale on Now!

Not really.  I happened to be at the computer, it was almost 2 pm here.  I remembered the sale was ending and saw there was a minute left on the counter.  I just wanted to watch the counter end to see if there were fireworks or something.  I actually replied later than that, but it read 3 seconds after noon.

We're doing a slow wind down for last minute orders. We'll honor the sale price up until you see the discounts disappear completely.

crap! i really wanted to get another last minute neck and body, but decided at the last moment to invest in a couple "in progress" projects first..
oh well.

I guess the rest of the year will be really nice and quiet for the W sales team :)

Sadly, I couldn't jump in for this but it looked like the sale has been some success. Plenty of people here grabbed something!

Sure cleaned out a fair few from the Showcase cabinet... hope it washes up well for the company.

Any chance you are thinking of extending the sale? Perhaps until the end of the month? I'm waiting for a couple of checks to come in. If I would have had them by today I would have seen a Jazzmaster  or VIP build in my future. I finally got my Warmoth Tele in shape and looking for a new project.

I know it can't go on forever but I think it may be worthwhile for all those post-Christmas shoppers wanting to spend their cash presents. The 26th is supposedly the second busiest day.

It's worth a try to ask! If not I'll probably wait for Spring.

Gregg,

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you reduce your inventory by?
And to add onto that, does this sale seem like a success, creating *potential* for a future sale?

40-50%. We have more coming so it will be building back up from this point forward. In fact, we already have a more on the shelves just waiting to be photographed.

Not likely to repeat this kind of sale. If we sold software, then there would be some profit left with a 20% discount.

hahahaha, I resell software, and you don't want to know what kind of margins we have :)
I'm sure they're sky high, the software market is such a rip off, no offense to you Marko... :icon_biggrin:

we don't sell the actual software, just the licenses. and margins of 0.5% are no exception...
I am no longer in sales myself, but Luke is.. ask him about it.. he will probably start swearing.
