:hello2: Whooo just got all the stuff i need for my guitar, i'll get started this weekend. the only downside is i got shortshaft pots and they're too small, so either i try again or just go to dick smith and get some more :doh:

Edit: i better post what i got.

Gotoh Floyd rose, with all it's stuff. ( a bit of a tight fit to the rout, but it does fit!)
Gotoh pots
Humbucker ring
Capacitor
Tele style black knobs(also Gotoh)
and other screws and things.

Is it a one piece?  It sure looks like it, but in the description I am remembering it didn't specify.

And at 14 I was rockin' a Martin Stinger Stratocopy.  Sanded it down and realized it was plywood.

I ordered just plain black but i think they sent chrome black or smoked chrome.

I like the looks of smoked chrome.  Nice and subdued, but still shines up real pretty.  Are you keeping it or exchanging it?

I think i'm keeping it, the only problem with it that the studs that came for it look too big for the hole :sad1:  Not sure what to do here.

They're not supposed to just slide in.  They need to be pressed, so the grooves on the stud cut into the wood.

Don't split the body in 2 pieces though!  :sad1:

Are you going to fill the grain? or is the grain tight enough as it is:?
I am planning on a walnut strat next and I will either true or danish oil it..

what neck did you order for this?

How much larger are they? You might be able to sand them out, but pics would help.
