Walnut Finish?

Anyone know if Warmoth has a finish that would be equal to the ES-335 "Walnut" Finishes that Gibson used for a while on their maple tops?

Here are some examples:

Thanks!

Even better idea...
Get walnut  :icon_jokercolor:

They've got a trans brown, but that won't nail the look. It looks stained to me.

They also do a brown dye. I'd call and ask if they can do it for you. That's always your best bet.

I thought about the brown dye, but it looks like that's figured wood only, and the walnut finish is plain maple.

+1 on calling. Maybe they'll do something special.

Some Minwax Dark Walnut oil-based stain should replicate that color pretty well, keep in mind that on maple you may have to do more than one stain coat to get it that dark. Get a can and a piece of scrap maple and check it out....
