Don't pick on me just yet but I was hoping 1 of you experts could point me in the right direction...How hard is it to assemble the pieces once they are ordered? I have a couple ideas and have heard that Warmoth is the best.
Also, what would one suggest for building a Soloist Archtop 7 string with jackson style reversed headstock? Are there any good neck-thru options out there? Keep in mind I'm a tool with no tools, lol!!

Warmoth's are easy to assemble .  There are no neck through options if you stay with their parts exclusively .  I've built a half dozen using warmoth bodies and Carvin neck throughs.  It's a LOT more work , but not terribly difficult.

The best part about building these is it is Yours , so be creative , expect some speed bumps , but keep on plugging and you will end up with an incredible instrument.

It's only as hard as you are picky.

Slapping components together is easy. DIY finish is tedious if you go that route - whether its easy or hard depends on your choices and skills.

Basic setup takes some tools that won't be in your wife's cute pink 'DIY Toolkit" from Home Depot, but can still be found there. Get a copy of Dan Erlewine's "The Guitar Player Repair Guide". It takes more patience than skill.

Without killing you with too many ignorant questions, what should I do to build something that resembles this:

This is what I think would come close:
-Warmoth Mahogany Soloist archtop, with a little work to the neck joint to resemble an Ibanez joint (rounded), a little shaping/sanding to the horns to match my taste. 1 ESP Humbucker at bridge and maybe 1 single coil EMG at neck (angled).

-Warmoth maple neck with ebony fretboard, no markers, Reverse Jackson style headstock, Wizard profile.
-Can be either a OFR or TOM string thru body bridge...not too picky.

Is it possible to do this with Warmoth parts for a 7 string and if so how.

To be honest, if what you're looking for is something identical to an off the shelf product, why not just buy a Jackson instead? Or an ESP, or an Ibanez, or any of the shreddy production 7-string models on the market.
