What's wrong wit' an extra ho?

Looking good Tim, I'd have figured the neck plate would have got there already...USPS lately sucks, I guess they just gonna take their sweet ass time about delivery's now too...

I agree.. :laughing7:

Actually I'm going away for the weekend, don't have the neck pickup, haven't fixed the broken tuner screw issue, and still need to order an RS guitar works "super volume pot" - and my b=day isn't till october :) Also I'm taking this in for full fret work before I play it too much. Thanks for checking though dude - and this axe has at least three extra ho's at the moment, I think.

As my Dad (Who works for USPS) says.... "USPS! When it absolutely, positively has to get there eventually."

Apparently that's their motto... :dontknow:

Did I need to string it up and wire the bridge pickup direct to output? Not really. Well, I can get started on setup and especially the nut and string tree now. This thing weighs about 6 lb - I've never had a guitar so light - and it just rings. Thanks for the plate, Doug!

My pleasure Tim, it looks great...Hollow tele's are wicked light...Both mine are hollow and are super light.. :icon_thumright:

My 20s were better than my 30s in a lot of ways, but 40s are looking very up. I've had this thing playable now for a couple of days - I just wired the pickups in parallel together and set up the tone control for now - this thing SINGS. Oh sweet lord. It's going in for full fret work next week, so it'll be a little while longer, but omfg.
And it weighs 6lb 0 oz yet isn't neck heavy at all.

Why, you planning on a heist?
