Does anyone have any tips on how to get the 3 neck pickup wires threaded into the control plate cavity? Mine just won't go through on this build for some reason. I was wondering if it helps to do this with the neck removed? I never had this problem before, not sure what is going on this time.

maybe do one at a time?

You could also try pulling them through; run a piece of string from the control cavity to the pickup route, tie the string around the wire ends, pull the string to pull the through.

You may need to open up the hole a bit with a long/aircraft drill bit

I use a thin zip tie. I put a small hole in the end with a hot needle, then tie on some dental floss, then tie that end to the wire and pull it thru like sowing something. There may be better methods, but for twisty hard to get at runs it's always worked for me. Do it one at a time.

I will give that a try. I definitely don't think widening the hole is within my skill set.

I'll try that too. Hopefully one of these tips will work.
