Thanks! Although I'm one of those rare veterans who wishes Veterans' Day would go back to Armistice Day in the USA. The end of a war seems like the best thing ever to celebrate.
BTW, I have no tattoos but I've always thought it I did, I would get one of a Marshall knob to 11. But I know as soon as I did, some group of weirdos with horrible ideological beliefs would randomly adopt that as their symbol. Then I'd have to spend the rest of my days explaining the tattoo: "No, no, no, it doesn't mean that. I got it before that..."
It is still called Armistice Day here in Europe. I also, at certain times of the year, see huge amounts of poppies growing beside the road and remember those that gave so much for the peace we have.
