Fresh out of the box. Alder (EDIT: Chambered) Strat Body with a Maple/Ebony Neck. Beautiful looking, hopefully it sounds just as great. Pics taken from my Windows 7 phone.

Rock machine coming up!  :headbang:

Looks good.

Someone will say: it needs a Floyd ... so there you go!  :laughing7:

Already have a guitar with a floyd, so I'm set haha. One is enough trouble and maitenance for me as is.

By the by, here are the pickups going in:

Neck, with Triple Shot by Seymour Duncan

Bridge, also with Triple Shot

Middle

That's an excellent body/neck combination, and a nice color over the quilt. It's gonna be an awesome guitar.

Well, you like to make a big entrance don't you!

Set up a 'work in progress' thread and show us how it all goes together, those quilted blue strats always turn out looking good..... :hello2:

Just received the bridge and tuners, the last parts I needed, yesterday. Going to get this thing put together and show some pics!

HSH with PRails and triple shots ... you're gonna have every tone under the sun with that thing  :o

Yeah, and I'm also gonna have a toggle switch added to allow for the use of both humbuckers and also all three pups. I think we came out with 27 different combinations of pickups? Don't remember.

TWENTY-SEVEN :o ... that's the danger isn't ... "Now what's that one do again?"  :laughing7:
Don't get me wrong, I like lot's of options, I just don't think I'd be smart enough to operate that thing!

have have 5 options with my 3 pickups, and i only ever use 3 of 'em
(middle & middle bridge could go away and I wouldn't even notice)

I used to be like that. Especially with my 3 way toggle Les Paul (I only really used neck and bridge with that). Honestly the 35 combinations will probably overwhelm me.

Play it for 3 months and then rewire your fav 5 options to a superswitch  :icon_thumright:
