Velocity Screaming Deal Build

You are a force to be reckoned with.  I like the color a lot.  A bit of a plum burst as it were.

mock up vs reality  We obviously decided to go darker and create a burst.  My son is killing my with fingerprints all over my perfectly polished guitar.

Have you tried using microfiber towels to keep your glossy finishes glossy? All glossy finishes are fingerprint magnets, but I have several black ones here that if you even think about touching them, prints and smudges just magically appear. What I've found works exceptionally well are these 24 packs of 14"x14" towels from Amazon for $10. They don't just smear the smudges around and make it easier to create new ones like most towels do, they actually lift the finger oils from the finish, so you get back your glossy surface and it has a greater tendency to stay that way. They're also very kind to the surface, so you don't create swirls in your finish. I also use them for eyeglasses, and they don't hurt those, either.

Well, then I'd beat him. Beat him to death, bury him, then bury the shovel. That'll learn 'im  :o

Plus one on the microfiber towels. One of the greatest innovations in our ongoing struggle with evil dust.

You mean, those fingerprints on my black Strat aren't part of the finish?

1.  Very nice.  Has a strat feel but smaller
2.  Seems OK during mock up.  My EVH wolfgang is similar and no issues.  Plus this has a contoured heel.
3.  I will let you know.  This is for my son.  I never like 3 pick ups and ALWAYS find the middle one to be in the way.  It does not seem to bother him.  The lipstick is a low profile item.
4.  Sure thing.

Some baked goodness arrived.  I am not getting it ready for surgery.  The neck is a standard thin with abalone inlay and gold  frets.  Headstock will be reshaped to a 4x2 design.  Warmoth should really come out with e 4x2 layout  I think it would do well.

I agree on the 4 + 2 layout, however it's subject to a Musicman patent. Not just shape but the layout itself.
