Using Up Scraps: Non-Guitar Woodworking

Haven't been building or assembling any guitars lately. D@mmit.

But I did find this way to utilize some very guitar-centric wood scraps.

I printed out the image, glued it to a piece of flame maple and cut out the outline. I glued a copy of just the eye and nose portion to some thin ebony scraps. Having inlaid these, I used a file to generate maple dust which was used, with super glue, to fill in around them. The teeth were done sort of the opposite; I used small chisels to open the lines in the maple, then used ebony dust to fill them. The hard part for me was blending the contours of the edges.
But I guess it worked out.

Nice work. Not sure what you're going to do with it. Bait?
