Hi, folks -

I picked up this neck about a month ago and decided it's not my thing.

This is a 24.75" conversion neck, Strat headstock and heel, satin vintage tint (but it's been burnished to a kinda semi-gloss luster).  You can see from the photos that the prior owner took some liberties.  It originally was equipped with stop-pin tuners (Schallers?) but was converted to Gotohs with the screws.  Also, it's prepped for for string trees.  The frets are stainless 6105s and have virtually no wear, as one might expect.  The nut appears to be corian or white Graphtech.

The real fun part to disclose is that the former owner could not fit the neck in the pocket of his axe, so he sanded the sides of the heel as shown in the photos.  This makes no difference in functionality, and when installed in a Strat, it's invisible, although you might wind up with a hair's breadth more space between the heel and the sides of the pocket on your axe.

Anyway - the neck is for sale, including tuners, for $150 shipped in the US.

Indeed.  I dropped it into a Warmoth telecaster body I have on sale here and I can barely even get a sheet of paper into the space on the bass side, to give an idea what the amount of material removed was - basically the guy sanded off the finish.  I have to believe the Fender body he had it jammed into was the reason for the poor fit.

TO supplement, since it wasn't clear:

Contour is Warmoth's standard thin.

Radius is Warmoth compound radius (10"-16").

CORRECTION

Nut width is 1.685 (or 1 11/16" for those of you who are averse to decimals).

Bumping - this neck is closing on ebay this afternoon.
