Updating my LP... opinions on pickups and bridge/tailpiece?

So, I have a longstanding love affair with Les Pauls, and I replaced one that was stolen a couple years ago after a couple years without one.  I'm really picky about how it looks and feels, and this one was "the one."  It's a 2006 Classic, which teh previous owner had installed EMG 81/85s in.  Now, don't get me wrong, I like these pickups a lot, but I have since acquired a couple guitars with the same pickups which are more appropriate.  I'm finding myself missing the "chimey" sound of Les Pauls I've loved.

I'm looking for advice about updating this LP, and I know exactly nothing about aftermarket bridges/tailpieces.  I have a lot of experience with a lot of pickups, but I'm sorta looking for the opinions and experiences of you fine folks.

I'd throw a SD Pearly Gates in the bridge and a 59 in the neck like so:

I always say:

AlNiCo-2 magnet, ~8k output, nickle cover PAFs.

Mass-produced I would go with a pair of SD Seth Lovers (bridge & neck).

Why you want to change the bridge? I trust Gotoh products, always of great quality with a good price.
I would go with SD Alnico II pickups, I like their fat round sound. Antiquities or Seth Lovers for "exact" PAF tone. If you have more money to spend check WCR Crossroads & Godwoods. "RS guitarworks" pots and caps have worked great in my WLP, I suggest them.

if you've got the budget, then you can't go wrong with bare knuckles.  The Mules are the closest they have to original vintage spec:

I absolutely love the rebel yells - though it's a more modern voicing - without being crazy either.

Why not Gibson Classic and Classic Plus? I love those pups. Also, BK Mules are very nice.

I'm leaning towards that actually; I have a Classic bridge already.  I'm looking for a used Classic plus for the neck.  I guess I should make a post offering to sell/trade the EMG 81/85s.
