I just noticed your "camouflage" fret inlays. That's a cool idea.

I thought about that - been wondering if I'll get lost with no inlays, or if black inlays in ebony might still give me the effect I want.
It takes about a week to adapt However I do suggest at least a 12th fret marker
After playing for 30 yrs, I thought I'd have trouble without the fret markers. But I have no problem at all adjusting, didn't take more than 30 seconds and I'm good. Probably will never get fret markers again...Unless it's maybe a custom inlay... :headbang1:

On this subject I had that custom acoustic done with custom inlay on the 12th fret only but with side markers for reference. A lot less than I thought I would need but I play quite well on it , so if my ears were better I'd be trying to train the hearing, but alas mine is damaged....

I prefer no inlay at all on the guitar. Side dots are a must though, I guess you can tell right off the people that slouch when they play guitar :P im so used to standing up that you could have a penis drawn on the front and i wouldnt notice.  :icon_jokercolor:

this guy couldn't see his fret markers.
I saw him live, and I have actually talked with him at a local blues festival when I was running backline on the stage.
He passed away too early!
