Hey Rouse,

What kind of mastering software do you plan to use?

pro tools, I've got some limiting and compressors to mess with, plus some other things.

I'm comin', I'm comin', hang on! hahaa
I'm gonna try to send it to you tonight, Rouse.  :icon_thumright:

I've fired off an MP3.  It was big, but smaller than the non-compressed version (which was bounced back).

Let me know if you got it!

I added some basic guidelines to try to make this a little more organized.

Let me know if you feel anything needs to be added, removed or updated, and  :rock-on:.

Got it :icon_thumright: and I think my email file limit is 10mb (might be bigger ???) so most songs should work

If yall want to post your track information here or PM it to me, I'll keep an updated list of the contributors in the first post.

"There must be at least one all-Warmoth instrument prominent in the mix".

I thought this was about, "We're putting together an album made up of players from the Unofficial Warmoth forum"  :icon_scratch:

I have a track to submit.

Wouldn't WAV files be best? If I put a WAV file online can the person doing this download it (instead of trying to mail it). I need all of the sound quality I can get.

We should say, one not-too-long song per person, and it has to be at least one 'all warmoth' instrument prominent in the mix (no "oh the second rhythm guitar has a W pickguard"). Keep it simple and interesting.

Which do we want, guys? Should this be UW members jamming on whatever, or should we ask for Warmoth instruments?

if this all works out, is this something we would do more than once. maybe annually, biannually etc.? because i would definitely want to participate but i wont have my warmoth till the summer and i have no band

If this goes without an explosion, I don't see why we can't have this regularly. At the rate we acquire new forum members, members acquire new Warmoths and everyone records songs, heck we might end up with more than one a year easily.

I read this a little differently.  I understood this to mean that the members of the forum are putting an album together.  Regardless of what they play.  I would be happy to contribute any bass playing that may be needed, but until I finish my Warmoth bass, I will be using a Warwick.

Trevor, I love that song...
I have only heard the Bonnie Raitt version that was written by John Prine.  But it is a real classic!
Man I can not wait to hear this CD of Warmoth greats.
Everybody  :rock-on:
