I thought this might turn into an annual or biannual thing, honestly.

I don't plan to be listening to this in the car next week. I figured it'd be a month's work at minimum, to make sure everyone who wants to can participate.

Why rush it when we can do it right?

I would be interested, but I am not in a band.  Is it possible that one of you drummer types can lay down a tasty track, and send it around.  Then we can get some bassists on it, and some guitarists on it, and just have a really good mix of styles based of a couple drum tracks.  Oh, and I play bass  :guitaristgif:

this is really cool. would the cd get posted online? maybe as a rapidshare or megaupload file. some .rar. this is really cool! won't be contributing, but definitely keeping an eye on it.

I was just sharing a cool idea, gosh I didn't think I'd suddenly be a record executive. Unless I can mix an album in iTunes - and someone can teach me how - I'm rubbish with this stuff.
