Only thing about gold is that this body is routed for a VS100, and the gold VS100 is a bit more matte than everyone else's gold finish. The body is pretty busy though. My grandmother always said "it'd never be noticed on a galloping horse"

Sperzel's gold tuners are a satin/matte finish, so what's left is to find knobs with that finish, which shouldn't be too tough, and an output jack plate, which will be. Or, to make it all simpler, just install a Wilkinson VG300. Roughly the same thing, but different saddles and shiny finish.

+1 on the Gold Hardware wagon. I dunno if gold-plated pickups would be the best choice though - maybe cream? Maybe something more exotic and out of left field like pink/green to compliment the art color?
