Unexpectedly cool or rarely ordered Warmoth finishes?

Gloss. I wasn't able to find a pic of it in satin, so I didn't want to take a chance. It has a padouk (scalloped) neck, and I can't believe how well it matches the paint.

Oh nice, I didn’t realize you got a Soloist! Which Duncan’s and are they different than the Velocity?

Yeah, the Velocity has Custom Shop Seth Lovers. This Soloist has my favorite production set- Alnico II Pro in the neck, and Custom Custom in the bridge.
If I do change them out, and I am not sure I would, but if I do, I might get Custom Shop Antiquities...that are rails.

Well, there isn't a pickup called the Antiquity Rails, but I'd try to persuade MJ to make one for me...the voice (and unpotted) of an Antiquity but with rails (and the black rails baseplate).

Thanks! I considered something 7/8ths but it would have to have 22 frets (24 are a no-go for me)...also, if it used a standard neck, it would absolutely be neck heavy.

It's a solid choice. It's no Candy Tangerine, but I still wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers.

I mean....people have written songs about Candy Tangerine!

I saw holo flake on the Warmoth Instagram the other day and now I want that finish on my next build.

I love that color too! And I could swear we used to do a chartreuse color of some kind, but it must have been discontinued.

To be fair it is a Warmoth body, finish was done by Marty Bell who is *the man* with sparkles.

I love obnoxious colors. I never had one, but those Desert Sun Yellow RGs?? Mmm. Doubly so if they have neon pink pickups.
