Tube amp guru's....help

Excellent news!  I am glad it worked out for you.  I guess you can name the amp, "Abby."

Igor: Abby Someone.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby Someone. Abby who?
Igor: Abby Normal.

Nice to hear that it is alive.

I did the test of the fuse without the tubes, and it didn't blow the fuse. So I went back and started looking for the obvious, found several wires that the terminals were corroded and 2 of those were just barely hanging on. So I cleaned the terminals, secured all the connections back down. Put the tubes in and viola....It works...

You're welcome!~~

I got a set of JJ E34L's that I had in it previously, might put those back in and see how she does. Got to checking out the power tubes that were in it when I bought it, and they don't even match. The dude that had it must have been a moron, it had some Mesa EL34's in it but they are different numbers. One is an STR442 and the other is an STR447..
