Hey folks. I seen somewhere that diluted superglue was used in the floyd locking nut bolt holes that go thru the neck to prevent cracking. Can this be done with Tru-Oil? I'm planning on getting a Basswood body made and that stuff is soft, so I was thinking of using it in the floyd post holes to keep them from ovaling. Discuss.

No, dont use truoil for that - truoil is a varnish...

Whats so bad about using a little CA for the job, its cheap enuf... and the water thin stuff DOES get into those pores and just fill 'em right up.
