that sounds like a sarcastic comment from my wife.... nice!
my excuse is, I played the same strat for almost 20 years, even for gigs, with no backup.. so now I am catching up
and I play one guitar the most, which is my wenge/ash warmoth strat. so that is getting the most wear and tear.

for years I ran 2 electrics and a accoustic, Most guys I knew ran about the same and we gigged everywhere. I guess now that I can afford a few more, and know the ones I always wanted, I still think if I get one more my life will be complete. Till I get it then I think, if I JUST GET ANOTHER. And it keeps going on. We really are happiest with just one electric.

I had a small window before I owned a house and a child, during which I was able to accumulate a couple of guitars....

considering you could buy a decent Axe for 600, these are not the way to save money
