Top mount Gotoh FR nut?

So, I've been collecting parts for my project and decided to go with a Gotoh FR w/ a top mount 43mm nut. Now it's time to order a Warmoth neck. The thing is, on the Neck Builder the options for "shelf only" are either an R3 or R4 OFR nut. Sooo, does it matter which I choose?

An R3 leaves a sliver more wood height than an R4. Since you will be working on the shelf to either lower it or shim it up for string height, I would say go with the R3.
