Tone control problem

Well ive just looked at my diagram to a seymour duncan jazz one, and a seymour duncan humbucker diagram, along with the rio grande one i have. and ive noticed a slight problem
mine and the seymour duncan humbucker show the tone having the wire from the switch/volumes soldered to the right lug, with the capacitor soldered to the middle lug and the casing.
whilst the other seymour duncan and the rio grande show the tones as having the capacitor soldered to the right lug and the input from the volume to the middle lug.
Ill show my diagram again.

Basically what is the right way for me to wire this? i have the two volumes going into a three way switch for using the neck/both/bridge which then goes to the tone on the right lug, with the capacitor in the middle.
Also mine shows the jack wire for the tip soldered to the right lug too, or does that need to be the left or centre instead? and where does the capacitor need to go? im soldering the capacitor on before i install it in the body after installing the pickups so i need to know the correct placement for that now.
Cheers.

Also do the two volumes need a wire from each to where the ground is on the tone so they go through to the ground on the jack too?
or is that not needed as the volumes go to a switch in between?

as long as you are using the right and the midle lugs it doesnt matter which goes where, you can also solder the right lug to the casing of the pot(assuming it is grounded) and the cap can go from hot to the middle lug, and yes it is normally favorable to ground the housing of the pot, if you have a metal plate that the pots all mount to then additional grounding is not needed...
