I may have a plywood prototype of my pickguard next monday. That may be the last thing I order, (either that or pickups), so I can check the fit before having the final version made.
Should have some parts pics tomorrow, others a week from today.

a buddy of mine was in the hospital for a few months, some pancreas thing.. dunno.. while he was there he actually did make a functioning electric guitar out of legos, and a whole lot of adhesive. I've played it.. it hurts. Works tho.  :laughing7:

Got my Warmoth package in. Strap buttons, neck plate (I'll think about what design I can do, Doug), neck screws, pickguard screws, ferrules, jack, switch, and humbucker ring.

So, the first prototype of the pickguard is done now. I'll just need to pick it up from the guy's house, probably tomorrow, and see if it works well.

Got the pickguard prototype!
I'm happy with the shape, just need to move some cutouts a bit. I'll take some pics.

Changes to be made for prototype 2:
no bevel between pickups
control plate moved to left by 1/16"
bridge moved up by 1/32"
corner of bridge squared instead of curved.

No pickguard material yet. Still need to decide between 4 and 5 ply.
