Tobacco sunburst strat

Nice work. let us know how it plays once the setup is finished.

Oh man. It plays like butter  :icon_thumright: It's the best guitar I have ever had.  :party07:
My next guitar is definitely going to be another Warmoth.

Here it is with the floyd nut installed. Theres a lot of metal on the headstock now. Floyd nut, string tree, heavy locking tuners, allenkey holder.
The headstock now resonates like crazy  :headbang1:

This is what I would call a subtle beauty. What I mean by that is probably from a distance you don't really see the figure in the wood etc... but then you walk up on it and go "DAAAAAAM!!!"  I really really like this guitar. Don't get me wrong, I like the woods that are really highly figured but this one has all the figuring without all the flash. Beautiful guitar, man, just beautiful.

Sweet. I agree, although I'm not a fan, the gold hardware works on this guitar.  :icon_thumright:

How do you like the Steve Lukather EMG's?

I have all kind of vintage and modern pickups on my other guitars, so thought I'd try some EMG's for a change.
I think they are a little bit different than Im used to but they are good sounding pickups.

Did you put the Schaller Sure Claw in? If so do you know where I could get one? I've looked everywhere ???

You'll have to pay VAT and likely something like a $40 fee for your bank to wire funds to their bank, but it'll get to you

Thomann.de is one of the only places to get most Schaller stuff, at least with any reliability

I got my Schaller stuff from guitarsupplies.nl , they also are really great

This is really Nice.....I especially dig the volume and tone control location......Im curious.....when you have a humbucker and single coils how you would wire it for the capaciters? .... being that Humbuckers usually use a different value cap than single coils????  I ask because I would also like to use only one volume and one tone, but Im also using a Humbucker in the bridge with the single coils.

Nice build :icon_thumright:

Is it basically a Lukather Valley Arts-era tribute?

Yes.

I actually dont know how it is wired. It is the EMG SL-20 Steve Lukather set and the pots are soldered on to a small circuitboard.

One master tone = 1 cap.  Also, I think the EMGs just have one cap value for their guitar hums and single coils.  Their pot values are also uniform at 25K instead of 250K for singles and 500K for hums.
