Just wondering, how much did everything cost overall for the tools and stuff in CAD?

Including shipping, $700.
Which is why I've waited so long... Haha
My workshop is in need of some new role though so I don't regret it.

Less than 24 hours, my StewMac stuff arrived! Not bad, for cross-border FedEx shipping!!
I feel like a little kid on Christmas. So many little things to mess around with!
Not I'm going to attempt surgery on a few puts to create some 250k long shaft pots. I bought a backup set, in case something goes horribly wrong.
I love these cts USG pull pots. So much better than the apha ones.

I also got some stuff today that I recently ordered. The pickups, Gotoh locking tuners, Bourns pots and some other minor things. Now I just need the body and neck ... but it's only been three weeks since I ordered those.

The surgery went well, I didn't stab myself with the flat head screwdriver this time! Both pots turn smoothly, and they're giving me the proper readings.

Now I'm really eager to get the body and neck.

The sperzel tuners feel amazing, as well.

Good for you! I know how you feel. I've waited 33 days myself for my parts, so I still have quite some time left before I get such a message about them being shipped.

I found the time to pass quicker if i count by weeks, rather than days. Haha.  :laughing7:
I have pretty much the whole day tomorrow (i guess it's today..) to work on it, so other than fretwork from my luthier, i may have it complete tomorrow or the day after.

Wow! Those sure are some beautiful parts!

Careful with that bridge. It's a nice part; I have two or three of them here. But, there are two screws on the bottom that hold some little springs in place that are used to keep the bridge on the mounting posts when there's no string tension on it. They will scratch the hell out of your body's top finish if you aren't careful. Just a heads-up.

I'm FINALLY done! I've been working on this, literally since I woke up and found it on my chair. That was 12:00, roughly. It is now !:00 in the morning.
A few little headaches, but nothing I couldn't sort out (i hope it stays that way...)
