First pre-finished buy. ( I just recently learned you could buy prefinished bodies !!-- No more dyeing, sanding, screwing up, stripping and starting over).  So I browse the pics and see this one.  Out of my body budget, so I had to wait... and wait... and wait and finally got it.  Body is chambered, which I really didn't want, but I will probably learn to like it (I like a little weight--not old Les Paul weight, but some).  Put my 1991 Fender reissue 1962 neck on it.  It was previously on my blue ash warmoth body that was my main guitar for the past 22 years.  I put Zexcoil Juicy humbucker with split in bridge, Dimarzio Area 58 in neck and Area 61 in middle.  Love the sound and look.  It's a keeper.  Still need to buy a trem spring cover.  Only one I have is white.

Here kitty kitty, nice Tiger!  :laughing7:
I watched that body for a while trying to decide what I could do with it!
Nice job!

Thanks.  I'm really starting to like the chambered body.  These are the best sounding pickups I've ever owned.  Love the DiMarzio's and the Zexcoil.  Had a bear of a time getting wiring right until I noticed my allparts 5-way blade had a flippin jumper down in it between 1 and 2.  Easy once I finally figured that out.  I'm very impressed with the finish.  Better and more durable than the one's I've done myself (the one I clearcoated with auto 2-stage might have competed on durability, but I'm not going to run a scientific test).  The other thing I did that I've never done before was to completely line the control cavity and back of the cover with copper foil.  BTW: I found 12"x12" adhesive-backed copper at local stained glass supply store for $6.40 a sheet.  Perfect stuff at a nice price (and I didn't have to wait a couple days for delivery).

That's sharp!

I wouldn't worry about the trem cover. None of the cool kids use them <grin>
