Wow Cagey thats nice

ditto
double ditto, that's a beautiful guitar and I like how everything, even the screws are gold so it works really well. I think I'm still going to try out black though because there is a faint hint of a black burst around the edges of the guitar, so I think it will go well with that. Am gonna go with gold frets though, because I like large frets and the gold ones are laarrrge.

I can see black working on there, and I know you won't be sorry about the gold frets; those things are really special. For the small adder Warmoth wants for gold or stainless frets, I don't know why anybody would run nickel-silver any more. The difference in feel and appearance is profound, especially once you get them properly polished up, and there's no tonal punishment involved.

Gabe...that finish is AWESOME...LOVE the color.

One tip.  Get a small piece of black rubber, cut it to cover the exposed wood on the recessed floyd route.  It serves two purposes...

1...it cleans it up ALOT
2....it protects the body and floyd when doing pull-ups.

I did it on mine and really works well.  I think i used a piece of foam like rubber from an old matt that was under a treadmill! :laughing8:

+1

I did the same thing on mine, although my recessed route was painted so I just used a small strip to protect the
paint from the trem. springs. Had it not been painted though, I would have covered the entire route!
