transparent ebony stain, wipe on then wipe off.....not letting the stain sit very long, repeat one more time if needed. Followed by 7 coats of tung oil. Oh wait.....this isn't my guitar, but it would look great with that wood grain.
Now that I see the body, I would almost have to say leave it as close to what it already is, but if you want another idea you could try:

This burst would make an interesting look for the zebrawood. Maybe use something
more transparent than this around the edges.
The rear coat is a reddish brown, and is more transparent than it appears.
