Hey,
I just have to make a comment regarding my Cherry Bomb and Tonar's necks. Cherry Bomb had been assembled for awhile and I was just plunking around on it.
I finally got around to getting it into my luthier to have the frets crowed and a professional set-up. I just got this girl back from the shop last weekend.
Man, this thing now plays like a million $$$$$. I can't say enough about how I love the feel of this maple neck.
When I first started lurking on the forum, I had heard all the great tales of bare naked exotic wood necks and had to try one.
After my first Canary neck, I swore I would never have another neck that was not an exotic naked.
When I was getting parts together for Cherry Bomb, I decided I would stray and get a nice flame maple just for the looks of it.
Then I experienced the Tonar touch...
The feel of a solid maple neck with the Tonar finish is something all should experience. It has a steady solid feel that cannot be duplicated. I love it...
I am certain that everyone here that has a Tonar neck will agree. I have not given up bare naked exotic woods, but I certainly will have more Tonar maples to round things out. :rock-on:
