This one was inspired by a piece of rusted corrugated steel I found. It's an alder body with an iron/rust finish. This guitar is much more interesting in person, as the valleys create moving shadows when the guitar is under the lights.

That's really quite nifty.  I really like the rusty corrugated iron look.


I think I would do one additional mod to it - I might drill a recess for the string ferrule holes on the front so they'll sit level instead of having edges all willy-nilly due to the ripples in the surface.


Otherwise- Brilliant work!
 
I'm late to the party, but this is outstanding! It's going on my top ten list of favorite guitars on this board.  :headbang1:
