At last... I'll be using this thread a lot in the near future!  :icon_thumright:

My first question is this one: On 24 fret Warmoth necks, the 23rd & 24th frets is kind of 'in the air' as in the pic below. Aren't there any risk that one could break the fingerboard by pushing too hard? If I feel like bending up to that high G on the E-string, my fingers will, indeed, need to apply some preasure...

You will be entirely unable to break off the overhanging fretboard just through fretting finger pressure.  If you can break it off on purpose without resorting to hand tools, you're a monster.  That's a pretty thick slab of exotic hardwood.

And as if that weren't enough, the grain is oriented longitudinally, which adds considerably to its strength.

Next stupid question:
I found this unfinished body with an accent line in the showcase (http://www.warmoth.com/Showcase/ShowcaseItem.aspx?i=S6075&Body=2&Path=Strat). Will the accent line still be visible if you choose a transparent finish?

This just got into my head the other day:

If you put a angled strat guitar neck on a regular strat body, will the head "stick out from the body"? I mean, would you be able to place the guitar right down on the floor without having the angled head touching the ground?

(Man, I really need to work on my English skills...  :doh

Whether the tip of the headstock hits the floor will depend on the headstock angle, but as a general rule I'd say yes, the headstock tip will be further back than the back surface of the guitar.

I've read on Warmoth's site that the headstock angle is 13 degrees and I did some measurements on my Ibanez (which I'm not able to place flat on the floor ) to get some kind of comparision. I found that the head angle on the Ibanez is approximately 14,5 degrees, so it ain't that much of a difference really.

That's just one angle.  Is the neck pocket straight or angled?

I was thinking of a straight neck pocket (which my Ibanez has). With a angled neck pocket the tip of the headstock would always be sticking out no matter the head angle, I guess.
