Proposals!   Must be a pretty well-known band, and a rock band, to qualify.

So, what are the criteria for SUCKING. 
Less than ? hit songs.
Good in studio but rotten live. 
Sound of their music brings pain to your ears.
Etc.  Etc.  Etc.  Please define the parameters of SUCK...

I sat through the boring torturous 4:45 intro, only to not believe what I was seeing or hearing.
This definitely falls into the "brings pain to your ears" category.
There is no way someone could have watched this before it was released.

Boy Talk about jumping on the bandwagon just to do it, and then countradicting yourself, sucked AND a good product? Please.....

I remember back in the day ( I'm 50 now) Kiss was fun to bash, but come on, they don't suck at all, anyone here if you had the ability would join kiss TODAY, If not , your a liar. Theres a ton of Bands that you can say sucked,

  You wanna know who sucks?  Lynard Skynard, now those guys blow chunks, I'm sure the entire board would at least agree on that one.

Their music sucked - but they excelled at marketing their product. I don't see any contradiction.

I wouldn't join Kiss. Just being around Gene Simmons would make my skin crawl. I guess your view is that everyone will do anything for money. I'm not one of those people though. I'm sure I'd have a lot more money if I was.

Lynard Skynard were LIGHT YEARS beyond anything Kiss ever did musically. I'm not a fan, but they're obviously a far superior band.

Kiss had a few great tunes, I don't care who you are.     I don't own one album of kiss, they're not my bag baby, but they don't suck. I wouldn't say Elton John sucked because I didn't like his music, I wouldn't say Led Zep sucked cuz I didn't get the hype.  You wanna know who sucks?  Lynard Skynard, now those guys blow chunks, I'm sure the entire board would at least agree on that one.

Well, I'm glad that you explained what you wouldn't say sucked.  Kiss did suck.  I remember hearing them for the first time as a child and being amazed at how sloppy and boring they were.  What I meant by their being a good product is that they figured out how to market their... stuff... to the unwashed masses, much like McDonalds (I don't buy their product either~).  There's no *contradiction there.  It's simply separating art from product.

I wouldn't join Kiss for any amount of money.  I have what I need in my life, and they have nothing to offer me personally or musically.  *You're welcome to think I'm not telling the truth.

I don't like Skynard either, but for dumb reasons.
