Holy Cow! If you've ever wondered where BOSS and Heritage and Dogsbin or Gobsdin (or whatever delusional past glory they're posturing about this week) GET their knobs, here there be knobby Knirvana. In digging through the peanut shells, it is clear that the guys are mostly? entirely? supervising manufacturing overseas, but with design and sales in Illinois. We liberals can plotz our Pampers all we want about worldwide workers "rights" (WHAT? HUH? ARE YOU FRIGG... oops out of adjectives). And domestic jobs, but roiling about my decidedly un-liberal brainstem is the knowledge that plastic work is a nasty biz, those guys tend to die of pancreatic cancer and cirrhosis and all the other organ-meat cancers that result from chronic long-term poisoning - lead poising, alcohol, toluene, benzene, polonium-210-induced acute radiation syndrome, same results. Your hair falls out, your teeth crumble, you turn yellow, stumble clunk thud.
Better thems than meems... I can still crave their KNOBS.

I was halfway through my third consecutive (brain) cartwheel of joy when I caught the bit about "Minimum order - 1,000." Talk about thud... it does provide a bit of understanding, if you were going to try to make money offa Ebay ibstead of vide-versa. The guy with the capital to sit on 5,000 knobs can sell them off for 4 times what he paid - and it's still a good deal all around. But if anyone wants to go in on a thousand with me, I'll supply the brains, charm, whatever helpful treachery is needed, and, a certain ineffable je ne sais qouis. You just supply the moola, and I'll just take my salary out in knobs - you can do whatever you want with the other 996! Win-win scenario...
