Hello all,

Looking at going for a custom neck plate for the next iteration of my Hybrid Tele (probably be putting the current body and accessories up for sale soon) and noticed there seems to be a helluva lot more sources available than the last time I looked into this.

I read through a few posts and apologies for starting a new one but figured I'd ask who's been doing good affordable work as of late?  Only looking for some fancy text etching, no pictures.

Checked out DR6's Facebook page, some killer stuff on there.  Just waiting for word on a custom headstock decal that was being prepped (no order placed but I'm not one to bail if work's already been done), this would replace that.

Most people on this forum go for Doug's plates, but, it is worth noting something. You said you wanted etching, which, as far as I know, is not something that he does. Doug's plates are engraved. IMO, engraving looks much nicer, but there are some limitations to what you can do with it. The bit used in the CNC process is large enough to prevent you from doing certain intricate artwork, such as photographs.
