Tell me about the Jazzmaster.

What do you guys think about the "buzz stop" is that a solution to strings popping out?  It sounds like what I'm looking for, something different sounding but similar playing to a strat.  I'm looking for something to play some new genre's so this might be the ticket.  Thanks for all the replies, and keep the info coming!

A lot of people like them, but I really don't.  They completely change the feel of the guitar, it ceases to feel like a Jazzmaster.  Of course, if you're not partial to the feel of a normal jazzmaster, then it's no big deal and completely solves the buzz problem.
