Seriously; that one was worth whatever it took. I'm not a huge fan of mere "exotic-wood fashion/statement" guitars, but that will look better after you beat on it for years. TV Jones pickups; does anybody know where the whole Cabronita thing started? Since FilterTron pickups were designed to replace the old DeArmonds, I would think it would be on the bright & trebly side... this is not a bad thing, IMO. The DeArmonds had a huge upper-mid peak, like the whole pickup was vibing at 2200Hz.
