Well, I got this girl back from my local luthier about a month ago and finally had time to take some pics.
This girl gave Tonar and my local guy hell, but she really turned out sweet.  My great thanks to both :hello2: :hello2: :hello2:

I was a bit reluctant about the 59' Roundback neck profile, but it really feels nice.  And with Tonar's oiled finish, she plays like butta...
I am also lovin' the TV Jones pups.  They really have a really nice growl to them.
Thanks for looking &  :rock-on:

That's pretty freaking amazing Bart... :headbang1:

Thanks for the props Doug!
You know it's that Neckwear that set's it off  :headbang1:

Are those relatively low impedance pickups? Those capacitances sound quite low for the average pickup impedance. Can you still cut plenty of highs when needed?

They're not only very small, there's too many of them. The .001μf part could be used as a treble bypass, but I'm not sure what the others are for. There's only one volume control, no tone controls and a simple pickup selector switch.

Damn nice fiddle, though.

*From the TV Jones website.  Telebomb has the Power'Tron in the neck and Power'Tron Plus in the bridge.
Oh my yes, she has plenty of highs...

*The Fender S1 switch is a push/push switch.
There are two sets of 2 caps wired together; one set for each position.

That is the bomb!!  :o

It is definitely one that pictures will never do justice too. The wood is amazing and it has been voted the prettiest guitar I have ever finished by my wife.

Oh Black Dog  :o WOW  :blob7: that is just beautiful, even matches the Amp  :icon_thumright:

Love the colours and of cause the Macassar fretboard.
Great all round job !!  :icon_biggrin: Plus Tonar & Dougies work
:kewlpics: Now thats how pic's should be posted  :icon_thumright:

This beauty of a work of art  :o  has surely got my vote for GOTM (whenever it's entered)  :icon_thumright:
Plus .... I'm tipping this as GOTYear for next year  :blob7:

Mark my words !!
