Tele Special Pickguard design

It is starting to look more and more like the pickguard on my FenderRR

OMG - where did you get those drawings/schematics for the Tele?

Can you tell me where I can find a Strat version?!

Max ol bean... how about moving the entire upper edge of the pickguard up some more, about a half inch, so the line that it makes will cause just a hint of wrap around at the lower edge of the neck

I can't see that working, especially since there's not going to be an overhang on the actual guitar.

I haven't seen the strat version in a while, and I think it was a small jpg anyways.

It ends up a guy I know works for the company that makes CNC machines PRS and other places use.
He'll make my pickguard for free (not counting the cost of the plastic for the final cuts. Prototypes are free).

If you can, see if the guy can do a  few different versions so you can take off the old pickguard and go thru them one by one and see which one is best. ATM we are only seeing the guitar in real life with the old pickguard on there, and it's matte black is covering up a lot of the area that will end up exposed. You perhaps might wanna see how the new pickguard will look with all that colour underneath.

Yep, that's the plan, once I get the shape finalized. I'm going to remake it, then try and convert to dxf. Once I get a few prototypes, then I'll try different material.s
