Tele Humbuckers

Well, I had ordered a set of SD Pearly Gates pickups to run in my JD tele project, but the guy refunded my money this morning and said he only had neck pickups in stock after checking.  I have been hearing a lot of people talking about these RioGrande pickups and I am wondering if they might be a better fit for my setup.  I'm looking for a somewhat warm bluesy tone...out of a tele.  Would these fit the bill?

did some more looking, and sent warmoth a message to see if I could add a TX/BBQ set to my order.  We'll see if they have shipped yet.  Sounds like these pups will fit the bill...

I am assuming I can wire them up the same as I was going to wire the SD?  I grabbed this from the duncan website...
