I did a similar bridge switcharoo on my Dinkycaster. It originally had a Vintage Tele bridge rout. All I had to do to move to the Hipshot was drill new mounting holes. I didn't even have to fill in the old ones because the new bridge hides them. The string-thru holes all lined up perfectly.
