New to the forum and my first post, so go easy on me if I ask questions that have been answered before. Just recently ordered my first full Warmoth build. It's a swamp ash WGD with bookmatched swamp ash top, flame maple w/rosewood neck. I am planning to use clear grain filler and hand rub a tung oil finish. Does using grain filler affect the look of the grain in any way ? I guess what I mean is , does it dull or alter the look of the grain ? Still got three or four weeks to wait but I thought I'd ask before it arrives.

Welcome, and no, the grain filler won't alter the look of the grain with a clear filler. Personally I like to use a black grain filler to enhance the grain of the wood, but that's just me. :icon_thumright:
