Show and Tell Your Swamp Ash with Amber Finish!

Hey everybody, I'm building a Warmoth Jaguar, this is my first time! Check out this guitar, this is the look I'm going for. Anybody have an Amber Swamp Ash body out there?? Show me a pic and tell me how you did it!!

If you saw the out of the box thread yesterday the discussions of tea and a T type guitar continues in this work in progress diary thread. I will try and give some tips as I go so it may be useful to someone at some point.

First up is grain filling. Just prior to that I gave the body a quick once over with some 320 grit, for the most part it was already fine so did not need much work out of the box.

How did you do? I refinished an ash body. Sanded to 220, stained with transtint brown to darken the grain and sanded back. Finished with honey amber,. Top coated with Truoil. The truoil changed the color "slightly" orange. It was gloss with no grain filler
