No recess on this one, my B.C. Rich Gunslinger/Assassin has a recess but my other Floyd Guitars are Top Mounts.

I am In the process of building another Tele w/Floyd using a Vintage Kramer Lefty (Reverse HS) Maple Board Neck/One Piece Swamp Ash Body/Twin Humbucker (Gibson HB-r/HB-L) w/a Top Mount Floyd as well....my last project guitar...as it's completion will give me...

2 Set Neck Style Guitars ('82 Gibson LP Std Candy Apple Red w/EMG 85/81 & '06 First Act Lola Trans Red w/EMG 85/81)

2 Super Strat Types ('88 B.C. Rich Gunslinger/Assassin "Graffiti" Graphic & '03 Warmoth "SRV" Tribute Strat)

2 Super Teles ('87 Kramer E.E. SC-3 & Kramer Rev. Pointy Maple Board Tele)

...and that's more than enough "toys" for a hobby player like me!      :headbang1:
